I have struggled with those questions for my whole life, also. The struggle has been minimized as I learn that God's greatest desire is to get me closer to Him. So, he uses whatever it takes - a trial or a blessing. And it is all individually gift-wrapped - there is no comparing in the world that will help my personal relationship with Christ. I am so happy to have another person calling me aunt pam! It is one of my favorite names :-) There is no place I can think of that would be better for another child than in your home!
